Villa Pizzo is located on the spectacular Lake Como with iconic views of the lake and surrounding landscape within the area of Cernobbio. The venue is one of the oldest on Lake Como dating back to the 15th century which has been authentically preserved to the highest of standards over the years keeping all of the original walls, detailed ceilings, flooring, antique furniture, and soft furnishings.
There are ceremony location options, however, the most popular and traditional choice is the ancient Darsena boat house with the breath-taking lake view that encapsulates the dreams of most. The view of the lake and photography creation from the Darsena is simply perfect with views as far as Como city centre to the south and Bellagio to the north.
Yet another immaculate venue providing quintessential Lake Como traditional gardens. Its gardens remain unique and fascinating with horticultural separations creating a harmonious balance between quaint individual spaces and practical reasonably sized spaces for larger sized guest meet and greet areas, perfect for cocktails and entertainment. The gardens stretch the perimeter of the villa from the lake side Courtyard over to the Orangerie that faces the villa’s own greenhouses with homegrown oranges and lemons. Behind the greenhouses, you see the building profile of the incredible Villa D’Este allowing you to be engulfed by beautiful and opulent architecture of an old aristocratic neighbourhood.
The reception is usually by the lake side Courtyard where you never have to leave the stunning sight of the lake. As the sun sets, the shimmer off the lake from the surrounding nighttime lights are utterly mesmerising alongside the ambient lighting you opt to have also. In addition, you may select to have a marquee at the courtyard to protect against adverse weather changes. This can be advantageous if you’d like the evening party to continue outside. Alternatively, using the inside of the Villa for the evening party allows a new perspective of the villa and a different experience to the events of the day in the outside space. The amazing scale of the villa allows you to party the night away with no disturbances.
