Villa Cipressi is a fantastic wedding venue located on the spectacular Lake Como with iconic views of the centre of Lake Como and Bellagio across the water within the stunning area of Varenna. The Villa Cipressi venue is one of the oldest on Lake Como with frescoes dating back to the 1400s which has been authentically preserved to the highest of standards over the years keeping all of the original features. The venue is delicately decorated with French doors, crystal chandeliers, large fireplaces, and soft furnishings.
There are ceremony location options, however, the most popular and traditional choice is centre and front of the venue overlooking the breath-taking lake view that encapsulates the dreams of most. The view of the lake and photography creation from the Ceremony is simply perfect.
Yet another immaculate venue providing quintessential Lake Como botanical gardens. Its gardens remain unique and fascinating with horticultural separations creating a harmonious balance between quaint individual spaces and practical reasonably sized spaces for larger sized guest meet and greet areas, perfect for cocktails and entertainment, or simply a reflective wander. The garden flows along the width of the villa from the Botanical Garden on one side, then through intricate walkways directly to the sister Hotel Royal Victoria.
Villa Cipressi has one of the most natural wedding arrangements in Lake Como within its grounds that creates an elegant flow between each designated area of ceremony, cocktail hours, and reception dinner where you never have to leave the stunning sight of the lake. Following the ceremony, guests make their way to a large veranda, a mere platform above the ceremony, giving welcomed relief by the prominent gazebos above the tables and chairs to enjoy the cocktail hour. Upon invitation, guests would move one platform up, into the reception area, being the prominent recreational courtyard of the Villa, which flows around an attractive water feature.
As the sun sets, the shimmer off the lake from the surrounding night time lights are utterly mesmerising alongside the villa lighting against the buildings and within the garden pathways; in addition to the mood lighting you may opt to have also. Villa Cipressi is also a practical wedding venue option in Lake Como as there are uncompromising internal ball rooms with large balconies overlooking the lake that protects you from adverse weather changes. Following the reception dinner, an internal room connected to the main courtyard is prepared for the party creating a harmonious balance between partying indoors and stepping out into the courtyard for a cocktail and view of the evening garden and lake.
